Pour comparer les quantités en anglais, nous utilisons différents mots selon le type de nom :
More
Avec tous les noms (+ que)
Fewer
Noms dénombrables (moins de)
Less
Noms indénombrables (moins de)
Exemples
I have more books than you.
→ J'ai plus de livres que toi.
She has fewer problems than before.
→ Elle a moins de problèmes qu'avant.
We need less time to finish this project.
→ Nous avons besoin de moins de temps pour finir ce projet.
There are more opportunities in the city than in the countryside.
→ Il y a plus d'opportunités en ville qu'à la campagne.
