Advanced passive structures
The passive focuses on the action or the receiver rather than the doer. At advanced level, you’ll use forms like the impersonal passive (It is said that...), reporting passives (He is believed to...), modal passives (must be done), continuous passives (is being done), and causatives (have/get something done).
Examples
- It is believed that the results are accurate.
- She is said to have resigned last week.

- They had their house painted last summer.
- The contract must be signed by Friday.
