Dialogue : Explications médicales et urgences complexes

Dialogue

Nurse:
"Good evening. What brings you to the emergency department tonight?"
Patient:
"I've been having severe chest pain for the past two hours. It came on suddenly."
Nurse:
"I understand your concern. Can you describe the pain? Is it sharp, dull, or burning?"
Patient:
"It's a sharp pain that radiates to my left arm. I also feel short of breath."
Nurse:
"That sounds serious. I'm going to take you straight to triage. Do you have any allergies to medications?"
Patient:
"No known allergies. Should I be worried? This pain is really frightening."
Nurse:
"You've done the right thing coming in. The doctor will see you immediately and run some tests."
Patient:
"Thank you. I just want to make sure everything is okay."
