Voler une personne ou un lieu
- They robbed the bank. (Ils ont braqué la banque)
- He was robbed. (Il a été volé)
→ Rob + personne / lieu
STEAL
Voler un objet
- He stole my phone. (Il a volé mon téléphone)
- The painting was stolen. (Le tableau a été volé)
→ Steal + objet volé
Attention : On dit "rob a bank" (pas "steal a bank") et "steal money" (pas "rob money").
