Niveau A2
Entendre : HEAR ou LISTEN ?
Piège #71 – Perception passive vs écoute active
La règle
HEAR
Entendre (perception involontaire)
- I hear a bird. (J'entends un oiseau)
- Did you hear that? (Tu as entendu ?)
→ On perçoit un son sans effort
LISTEN (TO)
Écouter (action volontaire)
- I listen to music. (J'écoute de la musique)
- Listen to me! (Écoute-moi !)
→ On prête attention volontairement
Attention : "Listen" est toujours suivi de "to" devant un complément : listen TO music (pas "listen music").
