IT’S TIME
Il est temps (neutre) + to + infinitif
- It’s time to go. (Il est temps de partir)
IT’S HIGH TIME
Il est grand temps (impatience) + prétérit
- It’s high time you left. (Il est grand temps que tu partes)
Astuce : "It’s high time" exprime l’impatience et se construit avec le prétérit (subjonctif).
