💡 Astuce : "Get in" et "get out" sont des phrasal verbs très courants pour décrire les mouvements d’entrée et de sortie. Attention : on utilise "get in"/"get out of" pour une voiture ou un taxi, mais "get on"/"get off" pour un bus, un train, un avion ou un bateau.

Notes d’usage
Séparable ou inséparable ? Inséparables. Get in / get out (of) s’emploient pour les véhicules bas où l’on s’assoit immédiatement : voiture, taxi, petit bateau.
Registre : neutre.
Piège pour les francophones : le piège majeur du francophone : ×get in the bus. Pour bus, train, avion, on utilise get on / get off.
À ne pas confondre avec : hop in / hop out (familier, monter/descendre vite), jump in, climb in.
